At our agency, we recognise the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and creativity to achieve success. To foster these values, we recently hosted a team-building day that fused The Village with Brazil. Our objective was to have fun while embracing teamwork, bonding as a team, and brainstorm for the year ahead, whilst also acknowledging our recent work well done.
To kick off the day, our Head of Digital Gustavo cooked up a storm with a traditional Brazilian BBQ. Gustavo even showed us how to mix up some home-made Caipirinha cocktails, made with cachaça, Brazil’s most popular spirit. While we enjoyed our meals, cold Estrella Galicia drinks, and the beautiful weather in the garden, we all felt grateful for being a part of such an amazing team.
After lunch, we got down to business with some brainstorming sessions. The team split up into smaller groups to come up with some innovative business ideas. It was inspiring to see everyone working together and bouncing ideas off each other. We came up with some great ideas that we can't wait to implement moving forward.
Following the brainstorming sessions, we played some fun games as a team, including a treasure hunt around the office and the local area. The competition was fierce; everyone was given the challenge of solving 10 Brazilian themed clues, finding a range of our client’s brands in local retailers, and returning back to the office speedily to be crowned winner. Finally, Chris and Deidre emerged as victors, having completed the treasure hunt mission first. It was an extremely close call! Although there may have been some questionable cheating going on, ha-ha. It was brilliant to see everyone channel their inner competitive side.
Overall, our Brazil meets Village team building day was a massive success. It was a wonderful opportunity for us to bond, recharge our batteries, and develop ourselves for the year ahead. We left the day feeling motivated, revitalised, and excited for the upcoming year. We are grateful to have such a small and passionate team here at The Village. We are already looking forward to planning our next team-building day with even more exciting activities, so stay tuned!
